No name, no contacts, no precise location or GPS, no photos, no microphone, no health or fitness measurements, and no advertising identifiers.
We do not collect your email address. If you sign in with Google for backup, your Google email is used only on your device to keep you signed in — it is never sent to our servers. If you buy Pro, any email you enter goes directly to our payment processor (Polar) for your receipt, not to us.
Your workout content (exercise names, durations, history) never leaves your device unless you choose to use Backup.
Backup is entirely optional and off by default. If you choose to enable it, here is exactly what happens:
Google's own privacy policy applies to data held in your Google Drive.
Pro purchases are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record, on their secure checkout page. We do not see or store your card details. Polar's own privacy policy applies to the payment transaction.
Super Interval Timer contains no ads and no third-party advertising SDKs. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and none of the limited data we collect is ever used for advertising or marketing — by us or by anyone else.
Wherever you live — and specifically if you are in the UK or EU (UK GDPR / GDPR) — you can ask us to: tell you what data we hold about your device, correct it, delete it, or export it. Email ashwaryareddy@gmail.com with the subject "Data request" and, if you have it, your device ID (shown in the app's Settings). We action requests within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Trial and purchase records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service (for example, so your Pro unlock survives a reinstall). Analytics data is retained per Google Firebase's standard retention settings.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We will post any changes on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or on the website.
